Our summer English & Math Enrichment curriculum is designed to introduce & prepare students for the next grade level.
- Get Ahead! Reinforce skills learned in the past year, and prepare students for success in the upcoming year.
- Curriculum & Material: English/Math curriculum & material created by Stanley G. Oswalt teachers!
- Common Core Standards based English & Math Enrichment classes for students entering TK to 8th grade.
- Our Teachers: Our English/Math class instructors are always California Credentialed Teachers.

Our Summer Program is open to students from all school districts:

- Grades: TK to 8th grade
- Programs:
- Full-Day: 9:00am-6:00pm — English/Math Enrichment (AM) + Chinese Class (PM)
- Half-Day AM: 9:00am-12:00pm — English/Math Enrichment only
- Half-Day PM: 1:30pm-6:00pm — Chinese Class, Art, Chess
- Lunch provided for $25/week (or students can bring their own lunch)

9:00am - 10:30am > English Enrichment
Our English Enrichment program is designed to develop and improve students’ knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing. We help students with mastering reading, writing, speaking, and understanding. Our diverse classroom strategies and content motivate students, nurture study habits and develop language skills.
Students will…
- Develop strong writing and editing skills
- Improve fluency and reading comprehension
- Improve grammar and increase vocabulary
- Learn critical skills of organization, note taking, outlining and editing
10:45am - 12:00pm > Math Enrichment
Our Math Enrichment Program emphasizes math theories that allow students to gain an in depth understanding of the subject. Math Enrichment aims to reinforce skills learned in the past year while preparing students for success in the upcoming year by following a teaching model that is in direct alignment with California Common Core Standards.
Teachers monitor the student’s progress and efficiently identify areas for improvement. Students have the advantage of previewing concepts presented during the next school year, so they can competitively get ahead and stay ahead.

12:00pm - 1:30pm > Lunch Break
During the Lunch Break, all students assemble at the cafeteria. We cater lunch from various nearby restaurants, and provide kid-friendly food options for students. Students may also bring their own lunch and/or snacks. We provide drinks, snacks and dessert everyday!
- Lunch (food, snacks, dessert, drinks): can be provided for $25/week per student (*optional)
- Provided lunch can vary from sandwiches, spaghetti, Chinese food, etc. Drinks are always provided (For more information on food provided, please contact us for more details!)
- Students are more than welcome to bring their own snacks and food
1:30pm - 4:00pm > Chinese Class (M,T,W) -- Art & Crafts (TH) -- Chess (F)
Chinese Class: Our Chinese Classes include vocabulary-building, phrases, sentence structures, conversations, and more using incorporated cultural stories, songs, and games.
Our Chinese Class levels are broken down into 3 groups:
- Beginner (Pinyin)
- Beginner/Intermediate
- Intermediate/Advanced

Art & Crafts (Thursdays): We teach various fun art crafts, such as beads, clay sculptures, origami, drawing, and so much more. Students can develop new skills and talents while designing unique creations, and experimenting with a variety of fun materials.
Chess (Fridays): *new class; more details to come
4:00pm - 5:30pm > Free-Time, Playground, Games & Activities
Kids have supervised playtime on the school outdoor playground. On days that are too hot, we provide indoor games, toys, and boardgames.

Please note the following fees that may apply:
- Registration Fee: $30 / per family (applies to new students only)
- Material Fees: covers classroom teaching materials, worksheets/handouts, notebooks, pens/pencils, folders, etc.)
- $75 / Full-Day per student
- $50 / Half-Day per student
- Chinese Book: $15 (Chinese class students only; includes lesson & workbook)
- Lunch: $25 / per week per student (*optional; students may also bring their own)
